Meet Our Founder
Sharifa Yateem is a licensed clinical psychologist and the first Emirati woman to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). She is the founder and clinical director of the Sharifa Yateem Center for Rehabilitation, and the founder of Sharifa Yateem Consulting, both based in the United Arab Emirates.
Dr. Sharifa Yateem completed her PhD in Inclusive Education and holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She has over 15 years of experience working with individuals with autism and other neurodevelopmental conditions. With extensive expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), early intervention, and family-centered care, Dr. Yateem is a regional advocate for autism awareness, ethical clinical practice, and professional training.
Her center was recently awarded Behavioral Health Center of Excellence by Jade Health, USA, in recognition of its high standards in autism care and behavioral services.
She serves on various national committees and is a Board of Trustees member for the Special Olympics UAE, contributing to inclusive development and policymaking for people of determination.

شريفة يتيم هي أخصائية نفسية إكلينيكية مرخصة، وأول إماراتية تحصل على شهادة المحلل السلوكي المعتمد (BCBA). وهي مؤسسة ومديرة مركز شريفة يتيم للتأهيل، وكذلك مؤسسة شركة شريفة يتيم للاستشارات، وكلاهما في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة.
أنهت الدكتورة شريفة يتيم درجة الدكتوراه في التعليم الدامج، كما حصلت على درجتي الماجستير والبكالوريوس في علم النفس. تمتلك أكثر من 15 عامًا من الخبرة في العمل مع الأفراد من ذوي التوحد والاضطرابات النمائية الأخرى. وتتمتع بخبرة واسعة في تحليل السلوك التطبيقي (ABA)، والتدخل المبكر، ورعاية الأسرة، وتُعد من أبرز المدافعين عن التوعية بالتوحد، والممارسات الإكلينيكية الأخلاقية، والتدريب المهني في المنطقة.
حصل مركزها مؤخرًا على جائزة مركز التميز في الصحة السلوكية من قبل Jade Health في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، تقديرًا لتميزه في تقديم خدمات الرعاية السلوكية والتوحد.
تشغل عضوية عدة لجان وطنية، كما أنها عضو في مجلس الأمناء في الأولمبياد الخاص الإماراتي، وتسهم من خلال ذلك في تطوير السياسات والممارسات الداعمة للدمج وتمكين أصحاب الهمم.
